Dear Students,

As you may know, Packapalooza, a huge street festival on Hillsborough St, will once again take place at the end of the first week of classes.  The inaugural event last August was so successful with approximately 30,000 visitors, that the decision was made to make this an annual tradition.  It is scheduled for August 24, 2013 from 2:00 until 10:00 PM that day and provides an opportunity to celebrate the start of the new academic year for the NC State Community and the local community including the Hillsborough Street merchants.  For information on the event, go to http://packapalooza.ncsu.edu.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION BOOTHS AT PACKAPALOOZA

Last year we had participation from many student organizations who were on the street interacting with attendees. This year, we want to continue that tradition of involvement, hence this email asking that your organization considering how or if it will participate this year.  

All participants from NC State are entitled to a complimentary 10'x10' "vendor" area on Hillsborough Street to set up. This space will include a table and 2 chairs.  For a fee of $50, we can provide a 10'x10' tent and extra tables can be reserved as well.
