Check your status!
Your organization profile says a lot about you - or not. When anyone searches for your student organization on the SORC website, the information they find identifies what your organization offers and lets an individual know how to contact the leader of your student group. If no information is available one might assume that your organization is no longer active.
So have you checked to see what's in your profile.
Go to the SORC home page at http://ncsu.orgsync.com and check your status today. If it is not up to date you can change it!
How to update
In order to update your organization profile and renew your registration you will need to log into your OrgSync portal and complete the Organization Profile Update which is found in the Settings Module. If your organization has been disabled, please attend one of the listed Student Organization Officer Training Sessions to find out how to reactivate your organization or call the Student Organization Resource Center at 919-515-3323.
Who looks at Organization Profiles
- University officials use the information to determine if an organization is eligible for services including room reservations, student appropriations, permit request, and webspace request
- Prospective members look at the information to find out how to join a student organization
- The SORC staff uses the information when needing to contact individual student leaders
