What is AIChE though? AIChE stands for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. The organization is a comprised of three levels: national, regional, and student chapter sections. The national and regional AIChE are sections consist of industry professionals in any field relating to chemical engineering and chemistry. AIChE serves as a center for professional and personal growth, networking, and sharing of knowledge to optimize chemical engineers expertise in meeting societal needs.

There are over 120 student chapters throughout the nation. The student chapter at NC State is a completely student led section primarily focused on extracurricular education, professional development, and networking. We also partake in a number of outreach and service efforts and hold social events for our members. To learn more about what we do, browse the website and direct any further questions to an officer.
