The Feed the Pack Food Pantry at NC State is a choice food pantry open to the entire NC State community, that is committed to help end food insecurities in the NC State community. We serve students, faculty, and staff, and are open to any member of our community who walks through our doors. The pantry was founded by students and is run by students, so we embrace a "by the community, for the community" approach to the food pantry.
The food pantry opened in November of 2012 with a dedicated team of students and faculty. Since then, the pantry has grown to include over 100 volunteers that regularly staff the pantry during open hours. As of the end of August 2013, the pantry has given away over 6000 pounds of food to needy members of the NC State community!
