Outdoor Spaces
Lee Field
Reservations for Lee Field are handled through Conference and Guest Services. If you are planning an outdoor event you will need to reserve your space by contacting Lynn_Barbour@ncsu.edu, Conference and Guest. Once you have secured the location you can proceed to obtain an Outdoor Permit from the SORC.

Equipment

The equipment listed below is available for rent by student organizations that are registered with the SORC office. The rental fee for most items is $5.00 per day. Weekend rentals picked on Friday and returned prior to 10:00 am are considered one-day rentals.
- Multi-media projectors
- Fender portable sound system
- Canon video organization is responsible for supplying their own digital video cartridge.
- Toshiba wireless laptop computer
Server Space for Organization Websites
There are two ways for student groups to obtain webspace for their organizations.
- Through OrgSync, each organization in the NC State Organization Network has access to unlimited webspace.
- Through the Office of Information Technology at NC State, organizations can be granted space to create a website.
OrgSync Webspace
All student organizations have the access to unlimited webspace in the OrgSync organization portal. The administrator of your organization's portal has the ability to authorize your webmaster to create and maintain your website. Just log into OrgSync and click on Website. If you do not see the option on your navigation bar, you will need to enable the website module through the group permissions.
University Webserver
Information Technology grants currently registered Student Organizations a free 20mb volume within OIT's webserver's AFS filespace.
To request this filespace the president or advisor of the student organization must send an email to Web Services at webmaster@ncsu.edu. This request must include the name of the organization and may include the UNITY/EOS userid's of up to two people who will be responsible for:
- Placing the documents online
- The contents of those documents
Once you your URL has been established you may include this information in your organization profile.
University Mailbox Address
Student organizations can apply for a university mailing address through the SORC office. You must log into the Organization Network to complete the online request for university mailing address. Your university mailbox will be located in the SORC office at 1202 Talley Student Center.
